What are your favorite things about Pritchard?
Pritchard people are among the friendliest, kindest people we have known. They have chosen to remain faithful in a location that, after various transitions, presents us with the tremendous potential and opportunity to reach people in a wonderfully thriving area of Charlotte. Pritchard has a rich heritage in and appreciation for quality music ministry.
What books have you read recently?
Beyond the First Visit by Gary McIntosh, Reaching People Under Forty While Keeping People over Sixty by Eddie Hammett, The Unstoppable Force by Erwin Mc Manus.
What is on your Ipod?
A diverse variety of music from opera (Bryn Terfel) and classical choral music (Robert Shaw and the Atlanta Symphony) to contemporary praise (Chris Tomlin and Travis Cottrell) to Bluegrass (Alison Krause).
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with my family, running and working out, playing with Samson (our Golden Retriever), playing Celtic- style music with my family (Diane on the keyboard, Melissa on the flute, Kristin on the violin and me on the mandolin), playing guitar, watching Andy Griffith Show reruns and watching the Tennessee Vols.
Other somewhat interesting facts….
David’s entry into music was as a seven year old accordion student. He has finished three marathons. He sings with the Centurymen, a choir of Southern Baptist ministers of music, which tours nationally and internationally and has been nominated for a Grammy award.
